Ramses II has an Egyptian Passport

In 1974, the mummy of Pharaoh Ramesses II was sent to Paris for preservation work. Since the French law required every person, dead or alive, to fly with a valid passport, the Egyptian Government issued him a valid Egyptian passport nearly 3000 years after his death.

His y-DNA haplogroup was e1b1a.

The claim that his blood type was B negative has been floating around for years, but couldn’t be confirmed (or denied) at the time of writing this post.
