The Rh Negative Blog

The upsides and downsides of blood type personalities

What are the upsides and downsides of your own personality traits?

Do you believe blood types and personality traits are connected? Many do. I am one. As this blog is for rh negative people, I will limit my writings about rh negative ABO types. We are not saying any blood type is better than the other. There are upsides and downsides. The Japanese believe that certain blood types are best fits for certain positions in a company. Since the Japanese ignore the rh negative blood factor, we are simply an addition to what the Western world should know more about. Below the article, I will list more detailed articles. But in a nutshell, here are the upsides and downsides to having either of the 4 rh negative ABO types:

O negative

UPSIDE:
Intuitive and driven.

O negatives “just know”. And then “just do”. Not worried about what others may say. They make great leaders once in that position.

DOWNSIDE:
Have a hard time compromising.

The downside of the exact same thing. Knowing means doing and this can lead to running your head against the wall. Especially in situations where for example you have a boss giving you instructions you know to be less efficient than your own ideas. Not being a leader can be tough for O negatives. It is less of a conscious desire, but more of an “inner calling” to have it your way. Not necessarily out of selfish reasons, but a true belief in what you believe.

B negative

UPSIDE:
Mind over matter and goal oriented.

Once a B negative has a mission or task, he or she will not get sidetracked. Little flexibility. Just stern determination often leading to success.

DOWNSIDE:

Overlooking important aspects of interpersonal relationships.

This goes hand in hand with the flexibility aspect, where once on a mission, a B negative may not notice important issues around him or her which then later can take him or her by (often negative) surprise.

A negative

UPSIDE:
Great communicators.

Being sensitive to other people’s needs may create some hinderances here and there, but it pays off in terms of being able to relate to others properly and communicating through the lense of thoughtfulness.

DOWNSIDE:
Vanity.

This goes hand in hand with caring too much what other people think. And it is a downside.

AB negative

UPSIDE:
Getting along well with others.

AB negatives are great listeners and learners eager to get input from others. It works exceptionally well with a very intuitive partner in life.

DOWNSIDE:
Losing oneself due to not being grounded in oneself.

The better you are with others, the worse you can be with yourself. You can easily lose yourself. While seeking being grounded through others, having the wrong partner or friends can make you a magnet for vampires becoming merely a shell of what you’ve once been.

This is why dating according to blood type works, because the key is to find someone who completes you. Opposites can attract, but often, it is actually the ones who “get you” with whom a longlasting relationship is destined to happen.

What is your blood type and how do YOU see yourself?

Who can you relate to and what is that person’s blood type?
