It was seat of the Celtic&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Canegrate_culture\">Canegrate culture<\/a>&nbsp;(starting from the 13th Century BC) and later of the Celtic&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Golasecca_culture\">Golasecca culture<\/a>.
