If, as commonly occurs, any of your wisdom teeth have become impacted or haven\u2019t erupted at all, it may be because your evolved smaller jaw doesn\u2019t have the space to cope with these vestiges of our foliage-chewing past. Unopposed teeth are usually sharp because they have not been blunted by another tooth.<\/figcaption><\/figure><br \/>\nAgenesis of wisdom teeth differs by population, ranging from practically zero in Tasmanian Aborigines to nearly 100% in indigenous Mexicans.
