Many living organisms are able to produce crystals, for example calcite and aragonite in the case of most molluscs or hydroxylapatite in the case of vertebrates.

i wouldn’t say crystals are self-aware…there’s no brain in them at all that i’m aware of (i’m strongly assuming the need for such to be conscious)…though the quartz crystals i see in the cover image of your video above remind me of fossils of ancient plants, animals & such from the deep past: meaning – what people normally think of when they think of crystals are examples of them after they have exhibited properties that make them appear to be alive.

Crystals are so interesting!!! I’ve only spent 5 minutes researching and have learned so much….7 classes, one being diamond used in so many devises or equipment that help us on a daily basis…Diamonds are part of this class with exquisite properties and function…our affinity to diamond is use…carbon…only other product made only of carbon is graphite…electrical,thermal semiconductors…the other 7 have silicon..and other elements…most woman were a diamond in there left hand, not even wondering that the devices need piezoelectric ( from crystsls) to function…it’s so incredible the independence we have on thermal qualities and essential characteristics from crystals or structural properties to live our lives today…My son’s best friend was murdered in Boston friday! Damien Hughes…it’s all over news ect…so He was my boy Joe’s bestfriend…I’m off learned more about my son’s death than had hoped for…so I like science programs and such alike…have seen common denominator in “prophets” having epiphanies or spiritual experiences in ” Crystal caves” gold is quite interesting also…I believe I read diamonds quartz and other crystals formed by extreme heat temps…my memory not fact I’m to tired to research right now…the alien delusion, a lot seems to stem from ancient aliens on history chsnnel…Crystal ” properties or experiences” reported in fatal caves. ” when a scientist was discussion the mystery of the crystal sculls” mitchelle” it was said that when all found crystals hold memory, that’s why chips in common daily tech. Devises use them…the myth? Story? Is that when all crystal skulls found and reunited…something with revulsion of information will be the revelation. i challenge anyone one of them to a good game of chess. i may not have 8 arms nor a cephalopod beak, but i still have that great for creating tools human trait (and other species trait) opposable thumbs. too bad i can’t change my coloring as easily as they can…also i’m just not as flexible as they are either among other things. oh well, did i mention i’m not perfect yet?

I always wonder why so many people like to eat octopi and I simply can’t. I tried it when I was 12 and had to stop. Something about eating them feels terribly wrong. If I had to make a choice between and octopus dish and another a soup featuring frog and snake meat, I would pick the soup instead.

I wonder if the antagonist to pain ( oxytocin) is present…Forgot who said it, stated octopus aliens among us. Russian divers had many accounts of this being shift shaping to appear human!
