The Plague

Much is known about the Plague. Even more is not. We are not sure what types of blood type frequencies were common in Europe before the Plague, but we are certain that there was less of an effect on Rh(D) negative individuals which could have raised the percentage of rh negatives.

In the past, the connection was made to people who had the “Celtic Curse”:

One thing these people had in common was high frequencies of rh negative blood and the theories as to the possible protective function of haemochromatosis has never been proven.

None of this is surprising considering recent and more and more findings surfacing.
