Rh- Tribes in Ancient Times

The following tribes would have likely had high frequencies of Rh- blood and/or were an evolutionary stepping stone towards Rh negative populations today:

Amazon Warrior Women (Sarmatians)

Everyone here has heard about the famous Amazon Warrior Women, but not everyone is aware that they were actually based on a real army of females from Sarmatia.

The Roman author Ovid recorded that one of the Sarmatian tribes, the Coralli, had blond hair, which is a characteristic that Ammianus Marcellinus also ascribed to the Alans. He wrote that nearly all of the Alani were “of great stature and beauty, their hair is somewhat yellow, their eyes are frighteningly fierce.”

Both Herodotus’ and Hippocrates’ accounts inform us that the Sarmatians took interest in turning their women into strong-armed huntresses and fighters. Archaeological materials seem to confirm Sarmatian women’s active roles in military operations and social life. Burial of armed Sarmatian women comprise to a large percentage of their military burials.

The Sarmatians were a large confederation of ancient Eastern Iranian equestrian nomadic peoples of classical antiquity who dominated the Pontic steppe from about the 3rd century BC to the 4th century AD. Originating in the central parts of the Eurasian Steppe, the Sarmatians were part of the wider Scythian cultures.

Etruscans

Proto Basques

The “Mystery of the Basques” and their origin is a topic you may have read up on here and there.

It is accurate that we are not fully aware of the origin of the Proto Basques (original Basques), but a lot has been pieced together within the past few years.

Neanderthals

The Neanderthal remains examined for blood types have been found to be Partial-D. Not D positive and not D negative, but a possible evolutionary stepping stone towards Rh- blood today.

It has also been suggested that this may have caused issues when it comes to having offspring with the Rh+ early modern humans entering their regions (Rh Disease).

Yamnaya

Celts

The Celts or Celtic peoples were a collection of Indo-European peoples in Europe and Anatolia, identified by their use of Celtic languages and other cultural similarities.

Like the Bell Beakers, ancient Celts carried a substantial amount of steppe ancestry, which is derived from Yamnaya pastoralists who expanded westwards from the Pontic–Caspian steppe during late Neolithic and early Bronze Age.

Major Celtic groups included the Gauls; the Celtiberians and Gallaeci of Iberia; the Britons and Gaels of Britain and Ireland; the Boii; and the Galatians.

The name Boii is responsible for naming both, Bavaria and Bohemia.

Proto-Celts are also responsible for replaces the y-DNA within the Proto-Basques.

Ancient Hebrews

When looking at today’s Ashkenazi populations, high Rh- frequencies don’t stand out and much rather they are similar to European averages. However, we are not that interested in today’s populations within this post, but much rather their ancestries.

Sumerians/Mesopotamians

Ancient Egypt

Scythians

In the second half of the 2nd millennium B.C. (late Bronze Age), Silesia belonged to the Lusatian culture. About 500 BC Scyths arrived, and later Celts in the South and Southwest.

One thing to remember is that all of us are connected, but the question is how many generations we have to go back to find common denominators with another Rh-.

Covering all historic events in the old world is impossible and verifying wouldn’t be possible for 10,000s of people lasting each of their lifetimes.

It is easier to focus on the Rh negative tribes, because there I am able to focus mostly and mainly on each of their ancestral tribes likeliest responsible for the high frequencies of our blood.

A lot of people have copied me, but do you know what is worse?

Being copied wrongly.

Or:

Being copied right in some instances just to see misinformation and/or disinformation mixed in.

Now, my main objective is to go on clarifying what has been misunderstood.
