Why are so many Rh negatives left-handed?

When asking who is Rh negative and left-handed (not me, but one member), 2 out of 5 stated they are left-handed:

I have noticed similar results on the old fan page.
This is not an official study and if there was one, it wouldn’t make it into the medical journal until we have an explanation the editors accept.
What could be the reason?
Why are Rh negatives more likely to be left-handed? Are you left-handed or right-handed and what is your blood type?
(Note: Many have answered with “ambidextrous” and for now, I am counting these votes as “neutral”)

A- Right handed as well as all the negatives in my family and that I know.
A- ambidextrous along with the others in members of my family the are negative blood types we thought it was just a corky thing😆 never thought about it being blood types…. Looking at it like that I would have to say your on to something there.

I write with my right. But that actually means NOTHING.
The laterality cought up with me recently…as my archery teacher discovered that I had a left-eye focus, not the right-eye.
And then it went on and on…not being able to figure out which side to ride on snowboard. Having issues reacting quickly… when driving saying left and meaning right. .. so I asked my mother, if she noticed, when I was very very little ..if I held the pen right or left.
Her answer – LEFT. But then I switched by myself to right.
Some researchers say, that kids want to belong, they wanna do stuff like the others do, so they freely change even from lefthanded to righthanded in order to FIT IN better.

Left handed-ness runs in my Dad’s side of the family particularly and I reckon its associated with Rh negative as a gut-instinct!

O-, left handed, but can write with both hands. Left-handedn appears to be on both sides of my extended family. However, I am the only one in my immediate family who is left handed. My brother is also 0-, but is right handed.

i am O- and a lefty. Same as my mom, but I also have a left handed father, grandmother, aunt, and niece and nephew.
Does anyone else feel like Rh- blood gets bit by blood sucking insects more than everyone else ? Specifically mosquitos .pm o- and when i think of it …all blood sucking insects seem to bother me more than everyone around me. I am ecstatic about the new breakthrough that scientists made….we can poison them with fake blood, so cool!
I’ve experienced the opposite as A Neg. I rarely if ever get any kind of bite or sting. However, my Rh+ husband attracts mosquitos and spider bites all summer long. He’s actually pointed out that mosquitos will hover at a small distance from me, as if there’s a shield they they’re trying to penetrate but can’t get through.

A- and left-handed. As a child I was ambidextrous but my third-grade teacher wouldn’t allow it. She tested me for left or right dominance, she decided I was stronger on my left. She used tape to mark my the surface of my desk at the angle my writing notebook should be and insisted I keep the notebook within the tape lines and use the same posture every time. This was in a public school in Canada.
Was there ever a time in Canada and the U.S. where writing with the right hand was mandatory in school?
It wasn’t “illegal” to my knowledge. I know that postwar thought (my teacher’s generation) was that it was “bad” or “evil” and likely my teacher thought she was being modern and forward-thinking by “allowing” my left. (The ambidextrous behavior made her completely exasperated, though!)
My first grade teacher yelled at me everyday because I wrote with my left hand, but used scissors in my right. She wanted me to do everything with one hand and to use lefty scissors.. Later on, I realized that I could write with both hands. But scissors were a challenge for a long time and I never could use lefty scissors. My aunt went to a Catholic school and was about 15 years older. The nuns forced her to write with her right hand, even though she was left handed. Fortunately, I didn’t have that issue.
It seems strange to me that teachers should worry which hand is being used. I feel sorry for your mom! I had the same experience regarding scissors, the lefty ones were difficult. As a child I really liked the habit of just picking up a pen and using it with whatever had was closest to the pen. As an adult, I like that I can make written notes with my left hand while using a mouse on the computer with my right.
I do the same thing- write with my left hand, but use the mouse with my right. I think that allows you and me to do more than those who can’t do this!
I can write with both hands, but not very well with my left, but I can eat etc with my left as well, but I’m dominantly right handed. I need to find out if I’m RH negative or positive. I have AB blood, but not sure if it’s positive or negative. I will ask my Doctors office on Monday. I just cannot remember. Lol, I am a true red head though and very intuitive and have a lie detector in my head, 😆
O – and left handed. My parents are 0+ and right handed. I was not jabcinated until 4 years of age developed many problems at that time, mentally and physically, Hg used at that time as adpoovant. I was taught to play all sports right handed and footed starting at age 5. Eat and write and draw and play pool and frisbee left handed.
