Mammoth meat might cure anemia

They say that nature has the perfect cure for every ailment, but what if the cure went extinct?

A low RBC count, also known as anemia, can affect the body’s ability to transport oxygen and nutrients around the cardiovascular system. It can cause fatigue, dizziness, and heart palpitations. The most common form of anemia is iron deficiency anemia. This can result from blood loss, malnutrition, or kidney problems.

Rh disease is a dangerous kind of anemia. Anemia is when a person doesn’t have enough healthy red blood cells to carry oxygen to the rest of the body. Rh disease (also called Rh incompatibility) happens when your blood is Rh-negative and your baby’s blood is Rh-positive.

Before the introduction of prophylactic treatment in 1968, a positive frequency dependent selection systematically penalized the less abundant allele because lots of children of RhD-negative women in the mostly RhD-positive population as well as children of RhD- positive men in the mostly RhD-positive population were dying of hemolytic anemia.

Wild game meat is high in zinc and iron because wild animals eat natural vegetation as opposed to commercial grains. At 27 grams and 26 grams of protein per 3 ounces of meat, bighorn sheep and wild turkey meat have some of the highest protein contents of all the wild meats.

The health benefits of alligator meat are obvious from its low carbohydrate content, high protein content, low saturated fat content, high iron content, and less calories.

Look up snake meat and you will find similar evaluations.

When looking up iron-rich “regular” foods, you may find advice like this:

Red meat, pork and poultry. Seafood. Beans. Dark green leafy vegetables, such as spinach.

I personally look at supplements as temporary solutions. If needed, indication is valid that diet overall should be rebooted.

The overall assumptions are that whatever is good for you, tastes bad and vice versa.

This is untrue.

Do you think Neanderthals forced themselves to eat certain meats or plants based on science?

Of course, if you lack nutrition, take supplements. But see your doctor first, or something like that which is what I am supposed to add?

Most people reading this will agree, but not put forth effort to move in a better direction.
